no! that wasn't what the second thing yesterday was supposed to be! i just remembered that i was going to ask if anyone heard moe say "thanks homer, you really did me a solid" on the simpsons this last sunday. (the one where homer was predicting the end of the world.) and it totally cracked me up, i'm just laughing my ass off, cuz until mark introduced me to the phrase "can you do me a solid" a couple of weeks ago i had never heard it before. and now here was an example of it being used in a sentence by someone other than mark, which proves it's not just something he made up!
allegedly the phrase means "can you do me a favor", not "can you make me a piece of poo".
allegedly.
our crack team of researchers are still on it. and by it, i of course mean the john.
