i've been painting more and more lately, and it's really growing on me... tomorrow is the art dept art show at work, and everyone who hasn't done a self portrait since the last show gets to do one. i did myself as a pirate, complete with an eye patch and striped shirt, and a parrot on my shoulder who's got two peg legs and an eye patch.

how he actually stays on my shoulder during our adventures is beyond me. but i'll get someone with a digi camera to take a pic of it when it's hung tomorrow and then that and the i heart unicorns bit'll be up here. soon, i swear. soon.

also, why does everything come up on wednesdays? it's like everyone knows i'm supposed to babysit that night and plans things that i shouldn't miss accordingly, making me look like a big fat slacker aunt who never babysits to my neice and nephew...
