here's the response to the letter i sent this morning:

Steph,

I'm sorry to hear you were disappointed with our coverage of Battle of the
Bands. Just so you know more about how it was put together, Guy Adams shot
the photos and I later talked to the organizer of the event to get
information for the text. My understanding from that conversation was that
the Black Dots were a Kennedy band and got a lot of applause from the
audience that included many Kennedy students. Perhaps we were both
mistaken. I'm sorry that we did not include a photo of them, too. We did
not intend to leave them out.

Would you be interested in having your e-mail printed as a letter to the
editor in a future issue?
