man i wish you guys coulda seen josh in action last night as it was discovered that he missed his career calling. i don't even remember what brought it on - probably the discovery of a humongous plate full of forgotten watermelon slices on one of the tables...the guy starts figuring out what's the fastest way to plow through a slice of watermelon (a'la eating contests from county fairs)?
i'd be hard-pressed to say any of the 15 or so pieces of fruit that followed actually made it into his mouth - but folks, that's not the point of the eating contests! it's all about SEEK AND DESTROY!
every time i think of josh getting through a slice of watermelon in 2.3 seconds i laugh my damn ass off. 100% pure comedy gold.

yeah you should totally animate this drawing. it would be hilarious to see those watermelon bit hit the floor hahah! and yes PLEASE resurrect the doodling. we love it! p.s. i won a book from distressed jeans! last night was a good episode when trey gets hopped up on trimspa. you should see the oc in high def. it's sooooooo much radder than it already is if thats possible!

and i totally saw the oc last night and it was exciting! what sucks is it was the start of the last chunk of episodes i didn't see, and i'm already gonna miss the next one this thursday... i can't wait to rent the dvd and get properly caught up before fall!

there's a restaurant in long beach called the crab pot and it's just BEGGING to be one of the places that show is filmed - it's on the water, there's a dock right there in front of it with lots fancypants boats for pleaassuuuuure cruuuuise'n...
and i think we passed the arches in newport beach a couple of weeks ago. number one i love how that's totally sandy and kirstin's restaurant that they always go to on the show and they hammer that detail in like every single show, and number two i love how they make it look so swanky on tv but the place i saw looked kind of hole in the wall, and even run-down. maybe there's another place called the arches i don't know about?
