guess what i like pancakes!
ok, just in case you haven't heard...
i'm obsessed with nannerpuss.
have you seen nannerpuss? he was the star of a dennys superbowl ad, and he is AWESOME. you can see for yourself if you click on this link. you'll recognize him on the page as the yellow octopus-like chap sitting jauntily atop a pile of delicious pancakes! deeeeeelicious i tell you!
my favorite part of the commercial, is if you watch real close he actually rips one of his eyes off half-way through. THAT is how committed he is to selling you hot tasty dennys breakfasts!
anyhow, i am cleaning up for an open house this morning, sat down for what was supposed to be five minutes to answer a couple of emails, and ended up making this:

i'm enjoying the nannerpuss inspired art phenomenon. although i prefer waffles! i would also like to see him minus an eye. and also maybe with an eyepatch... like nannerpuss the true hollywood story.
I think that Nannerpuss is sending the wrong message. Do we really need ANOTHER celebrity role model telling kids that it's okay to dance on their pancakes and tear their faces apart?

My heart goes out to the nanner. He is already visually challenged but to then be tied down to someone who obviously keeps yanking his strings...breaks my heart. Does Mrs. Butterworth know about this atrocity???

ok i revised it so his eye's gone and he's got the proper moustache - little details i missed when i cranked this thing out yesterday!
Love it! Nannerpuss is very loved at our house. You never know when one of us will just break out singing his song. I would love to see more of him!
