i was gonna tell you all about going to see the vandals last friday but now i don't have to. go check out my sister's blog!

i hate that company policy that states that if you don't work your full shift the day before and the day after a paid day off, you don't get paid for that paid day off. because i am dying here, people. how i made it to work i dont know, but whatever bug i caught that made me sleep and hurt and whine for 16 hours yesterday is kicking my ass and making my typing full of typos to go back and fix. i want to just lay my head down on my keyboard and sleep until 3:30.

merry christmas to all my internet pals, and all my friends who i only get to see on here because you're too damn far away. hope your holidays are special, and that you enjoy this xmas card that josh and i made together. me, i'm gonna go have a beer, because i just finished that massive painting project like ten minutes ago. between that and recovering from the awesomeness of the vandals show last night, my brain is officially fried.

okay, so i found out recently that michelle's friend jeff's band raymond and scum may be playing a show in madison, wisconsin sometime in the near future, right? so today i've been putting together a list of things they have to go check out while they're there if they have the time. making this list has made me more than a little nostalgic for good times with good peeps in that city.

then i have to remind myself that actually living in wisconsin blows.

i still haven't decided whether i love or hate this cow shake ad. part of me thinks it's kinda funny. part of me thinks it's kinda dumb. and all of me wants a shake and/or malt... but not from carls, since the last time i went there they told michelle and i that the only difference between the shake and the malt was the malt had more sugar.

isn't the malted milk in a malt what makes it different from a milkshake?

i mean, i'm not questioning the girl who works behind the counter... i'm sure they have a very extensive training seminar on shakes vs. malts, and she probably will be fired for divulging this sensitive company secret to us. and for this, i salute her.
