hump day, we hardly knew ye

holy cow it's thursday already. where did the week go? karaoke, that's where.

last night was awesome, in this order:

-got my back adjusted
-ate a wendys hamburger
-finished and sent off a t design for josh's uncle's high school reunion
-found out josh may join us at stitch n bitch in the future
-went to stitch n bitch
-went through AMAZING 80s knitting magazines with patterns and everything for some of the most horrendous sweater travestys known to man
-started knitting something i'm probably gonna end up unravelling, just because i didn't have an actual project i was working on and just wanted to be knitting something
-went to karoake with some of the knitting group and had a blaaaaaasssssss!

this was the best part of my night, because i heart karaoke like no one's business! went with gayle, angela, the other steph and alicia and all kinds of wacky fun was to be had, including a shout out to our best friend paris hilton. we figured we should probably sing jailhouse rock for her. i also did a rousing rendition of 9 to 5, a little ode to my buddies in the south. steph busted out some moves with maniac, angela did an awesome spoken-word morning train, and alicia got her groove on with some black velvet.

i gotta tell you i love the prospector, but next time we'll probably go somewhere else for our karaoke needs since it was supposed to start at 9, we were there and ready for it at 915, but they wouldn't start it until 1030 because they were, quote, "waiting for more people". balderdash! you're wasting our valuable jackassery time!
