i am currently 7 in the queue!

so i'm sitting on syamtec's live help page waiting for someone to get to me on why i can't download my brand spanky new virus protection and it is completely thrilling to say the least.

by the way, i'm back from vacation! and i'm really kinda more than a little bummed out about that. it's just hard to visit both places you're thinking of moving someday, have a ton of fun at both places, and then come back home and have to concentrate on shit i have to go to work tomorrow.

i'm now 4 in the queue, i just pooped my pants in excitement.

moral of the story is, it would be so much fun to pick up and get outta here, but we're still in ca for a couple of years most likely.

oh my god i'm 2 in the queue. it's probably just as exciting reading about my wait in line as my actual sitting here waiting!

i should write about vacation or something, but it's my turn to talk to customer service so i'm out!!!

welcome to the monkey house

i never did get around to reading more vonnegut books like i've always meant to, and now when i go pick up slaughterhouse five it's gonna look like i'm only interested cuz the guy died. welcome to the monkey house was a cool book of short stories, and you should also probably read breakfast of champions. don't ask me what they were about, i read em ages ago, but i remember they were wacky and good.

this week has dragged more than any week has dragged before!! mostly because vacation looms on the horizon and i just can not effing wait. just one more day of work and then glorious, glorious freedom!

i finally got my roll of chain in the mail this week which means soon soon SOON there will be shrinky dink necklaces in the shop! soon soon soon means i haven't quite gotten off my butt to put them together, but let me assure you they will rock your socks off!

finished a painting last night for a group show and i'm totally lovin it - so bright and happy! hopefully someone else will think so too and take it home with them. but hopefully they will pay for it first, because that's how these things work, you understand. take a gander:



one last thing - josh and i were commenting the other day about how we haven't seen the segway santa in ages again. i hope he's okay!

today's been fun - started out playing a few rounds of our new family feud computer game, which could possibly get a little addicting... and then, and this is what you came here for, josh and i loaded jimmy up in the car and headed to 2nd street for the annual easter dog parade!

it was so awesome - we weren't sure how our dog would react cuz he tends to get overly excited around other dogs. he was really super good, though, just chillin out, happy to be walkin around and getting petted by bazillions of people and smellin tons of butts. i think they have another one for halloween, so we'll probably try and come up with some kind of outlandish costume for him for that... there's some stiff competition, you know? people go ALL OUT for this shit!

also, this weekend's theme seems to have been let's do new stuff that's there to do in long beach - josh and i went kayaking in the long beach marina yesterday and it was AMAZING. saw a bunch of moon jellies, a stingray and some sea slugs. so glad it's almost summer and they're open all the time because i really think i'm gonna wanna go lots more.
